Program Overview
The Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management (International University of Barbados) is designed to prepare students for successful careers in the global hospitality industry. The program combines online theoretical instruction, practical training, and an international internship to develop professional knowledge, leadership abilities, and hands-on operational experience in luxury hotels and resorts worldwide.
This course is structured to align with international hospitality standards, providing graduates with immediate competencies in hotel operations, cost control, customer relations, and food safety protocols.
Candidates will be selected through an admission interview, with consideration given to their motivation, commitment, and demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry.

International Internship (6 Months)
Upon successful completion of academic studies, students may undertake a 6-month supervised international internship in destinations such as the Maldives, Dubai, Italy, and other partner countries, subject to placement availability, visa approval, and hotel agreements.
This allows students to apply academic knowledge in real-world environments, building global networks and professional operational experience.
